Privacy Policy for Toreapps AS – NoiseScope

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected or submitted by the iOS app NoiseScope.

Information We Collect

NoiseScope does not collect any personal information.
The app does not store information about how the app is generally used.
If the user enables geolocation, the app may access the device’s location. This is optional, and all app functionality remains available without granting location access.
To measure sound levels, the app requires access to the device’s microphone.
The user may choose to store measurement data locally on the device. These data remain on the device unless the user deletes them.
In the Pro version, if the user performs manual device calibration, the app may collect and upload limited, anonymous calibration data to iCloud. This data consists solely of:
- Device model name
- Operating system (OS) version
- Calibration target level
- Calibration offset value
No personal identifiers, account information, location data, or usage history are collected or transmitted as part of this process.

How Information Is Used

Locally stored measurement data is used only within the app and remains on the user’s device.
Anonymized calibration data submitted via iCloud is used exclusively for statistical analysis to improve default calibration values for each supported device model.
The collected calibration data cannot be linked to any individual user and is not used for profiling, tracking, marketing, or identification purposes.
No information is shared with third-party services or advertisers.

Notifications

The app does not use notifications.

iCloud

NoiseScope generally operates without any cloud functionality. However, in the Pro version, anonymized calibration data (device model, operating system version, target level and offset values only) may be securely stored in iCloud for the sole purpose of improving device-specific calibration accuracy.

No personal data is stored in iCloud and the submitted information cannot be used to identify any individual user.

Advertising and Analytics

NoiseScope does not contain advertising and does not collect data for analytics, tracking, or user profiling.

Security

All data stored locally on the device is protected by Apple’s built-in security framework. Any anonymized calibration data transmitted to iCloud is protected using Apple’s secure iCloud infrastructure.

Accessing, Changing, or Deleting Your Data

All locally stored data can be viewed or deleted through the app’s Storage section.
You may delete all local data by uninstalling the app.
Anonymized calibration entries stored in iCloud are aggregated and cannot be associated with individual users.

Third-Party Links and Content

NoiseScope does not contain external links and does not display or use any third-party content.

Children’s Privacy (COPPA)

NoiseScope does not knowingly collect any personal information from individuals of any age, including children under 13.

International Transfers of Information

Anonymized calibration data stored in iCloud may be processed on Apple servers located in different regions. No personal data is transferred internationally.

Informasjonen vi samler inn

Støyskop samler ikke inn noen personopplysninger.
Appen lagrer ikke informasjon om generell bruk av appen.
Hvis brukeren aktiverer posisjonstjenester, kan appen få tilgang til enhetens posisjon. Dette er valgfritt, og all funksjonalitet i appen er tilgjengelig uten å gi posisjonstilgang.
For å måle støynivåer trenger appen tilgang til enhetens mikrofon.

Ingen personopplysninger lagres i iCloud, og de innsendte dataene kan ikke brukes til å identifisere enkeltbrukere.

Reklame og analyseverktøy

Støyskop inneholder ikke reklame og samler ikke inn data til analyse, sporing eller brukerprofilering.

Sikkerhet

Alle data som lagres lokalt på enheten, er beskyttet av Apples innebygde sikkerhetsmekanismer. Eventuelle anonymiserte kalibreringsdata som overføres til iCloud, beskyttes av Apples sikre iCloud-infrastruktur.

Tredjepartslenker og innhold

Støyskop inneholder ikke eksterne lenker og viser eller bruker ikke tredjepartsinnhold.

Personvern for barn

Støyskop samler ikke bevisst inn personopplysninger fra noen aldersgruppe, inkludert barn under 13 år.

Internasjonal overføring av informasjon

Anonymiserte kalibreringsdata som lagres i iCloud, kan behandles på Apple-servere i ulike regioner. Ingen personopplysninger overføres internasjonalt.

Información que recopilamos

RuidoScope no recopila ningún dato personal.
La app no almacena información sobre el uso general de la aplicación.
Si el usuario activa la geolocalización, la app puede acceder a la ubicación del dispositivo. Esto es opcional y todas las funciones de la app están disponibles sin conceder acceso a la ubicación.
Para medir los niveles de ruido, la app necesita acceder al micrófono del dispositivo.
El usuario puede optar por almacenar los datos de las mediciones localmente en el dispositivo. Estos datos permanecen en el dispositivo hasta que el usuario los elimine.
En la versión Pro, si el usuario realiza una calibración manual del dispositivo, la app puede recopilar y cargar datos de calibración limitados y anónimos en iCloud. Estos datos consisten únicamente en:
- Nombre del modelo de dispositivo
- Versión del sistema operativo (OS)
- Nivel objetivo de calibración

Cómo utilizamos la información

Los datos de medición almacenados localmente se utilizan únicamente dentro de la app y permanecen en el dispositivo del usuario.
Los datos de calibración anonimizados que se envían a través de iCloud se utilizan exclusivamente para análisis estadísticos con el fin de mejorar los valores de calibración predeterminados para cada modelo de dispositivo compatible.
Los datos de calibración recopilados no pueden asociarse a usuarios individuales y no se utilizan para elaboración de perfiles, seguimiento, marketing ni identificación.
No se comparte ninguna información con servicios de terceros ni con anunciantes.

Notificaciones

La app no utiliza notificaciones.

iCloud

RuidoScope funciona en general sin funcionalidades en la nube. Sin embargo, en la versión Pro, los datos de calibración anonimizados (solo modelo del dispositivo, versión del sistema operativo, nivel objetivo y valores de offset) pueden almacenarse de forma segura en iCloud con el único propósito de mejorar la precisión de la calibración específica de cada dispositivo.

No se almacenan datos personales en iCloud y la información enviada no puede utilizarse para identificar a ningún usuario individual.

Publicidad y analítica

RuidoScope no contiene publicidad y no recopila datos para analítica, seguimiento ni elaboración de perfiles de usuario.

Seguridad

Todos los datos almacenados localmente en el dispositivo están protegidos por la infraestructura de seguridad integrada de Apple. Cualquier dato de calibración anonimizado que se transmita a iCloud está protegido mediante la infraestructura segura de iCloud de Apple.
